Your Complimentary Consultation

We will give you an opportunity to tour the office and meet our wonderful team. We will explain everything that you need to know before starting your orthodontic care – no strings attached. Dr. Lazin and his staff will

  • Review your dental and medical history forms

  • Take orthodontic records including an oral exam, digital photographs, and X-rays

  • Review your diagnosis and provide a customized treatment plan if orthodontic care if recommended

  • Discuss all financial information, insurance options, discounts, and payment plans

What Happens After the Initial Consultation?

If you choose to receive orthodontic care, our first step will be to comfortably scan your teeth. This process takes 2-3 minutes. The scan will be sent to a digital lab if your treatment includes Invisalign, Lazin Liners, or an expander. Otherwise, you’ll be brought upstairs to receive braces and start your orthodontic journey.

Scheduling Appointments

To make sure you’re treatment is processing in a safe and efficient manner, you will visit the orthodontist every 4-8 weeks. Regular checkups last between 20-40 minutes, and we will use this time to evaluate your progress and make any necessary adjustments. For certain treatment options we offer virtual appointments. If you’re interested in a virtual appointment ask the scheduling coordinator if this is an option for you.

We understand that “life happens” so give us a call if you’re running late. We offer morning and afternoon appointments and will work hard to accommodate your busy schedule.

Visiting the Dentist

It is important that you continue to visit your family dentist every 6 months during orthodontic treatment for a cleaning and checkup. If extra dental care is needed, we will coordinate with your family dentist to make this process as easy as possible. We will also coordinate with your dentist before, during, and after treatment so that she/he is included in the process and treatment plan.
